1st grade. I will let you know when I talk to her. I think I understand the process to which the answer is derived. But if you don't understand the process, the question is impossible to figure out. It's like handing a kid two shoes. One tied and one not. Then just telling them to make the untied look like the tied, but don't show them how to do what's in the middle. It's not "new math", it's more like "secret math"!!!
