Id go to the hottest bird I hear gobblin if youre hearing any.
Hens are going to nest now, dominant birds losing hens and being without for the first time all season and will come in this time of year LIKE a two year old.
Matter of fact..I know a pretty knowledgable hunter from here who shot one of those big old birds a couple days ago...but he didnt post about it, so I wont say who.
If youre not hearing any you can either walk until you hit one or set up where youve at least seen them, and then play the patient route and see if you can fire one up..or catch one sneakin round.
