Yeah u ain't kidding..We had a big dayum argument at my son's game this evening..The league has a rule where if on the 3rd strike the player can run to 1st base if the catcher drops the ball..The player was just fixing to walk in the dugout & the coach told him to hurry up & get on 1st blah bullshit!. When I played & I struck out I was out! I didn't cry & whine I tried harder..

Actually in baseball other than Little League or Dixie Youth if the catcher drops the batter can advance to first base. Even in the younger age groups in travel ball (USSSA) they play by big league rules.
This is 10 year olds..The problem was he swung & the ump called him out, and the boy was just about step foot in the dug out..He was well out of the base line the player should've been out imo and everyone else's not the other teams of course lol..In MLB 1st has to be unoccupied & 2 outs I believe?


First base has to be unoccupied, but, it doesn't matter how many outs there are. It is also still a strike out with an error.
