Set up on a couple birds that gobbled at the same place thur and fri morning. One fired off real close to us about 6:10. Got set and gave a soft call and he clammed up. Not another sound. Waited about an hr and heard another bird way to the south gobble. I'm set up in the area where I heard the 2nd bird now. Got a few tracks on the rd since the rain yesterday afternoon. Just gonna wait them out.


It's hard to kiss the lips at night that chews your a$$ all day long.

Had a nice strutter come in the field with a couple hens and a jake... Was able to get all of them close but the gobbler hung up on a terrace 200yards out and would not budge... Damn turkeys...

Congrats cole! I got my butt whooped by one. He flew from the roost to the top of the mountain. I skeeter up after him and ended up bumping him because he landed in a damn tree on top
