FYI Camden86 is the reason he was able to make it to the hospital in such good time.

Bout stepped on a big timber yesterday afternoon..I was walking down a field road and got to the spot i wanted to set up..I set my gun and seat down on the woods side of the road and walked into the field to set my decoys..walked back, picked up my gear and took one step towards to woods and there he was about a good step in front of me coiled and ready to dance...glad you brother is doing better..

Dr. B I had one rattle at me right before daylight. Could not have been more than two feet away. I did have my snake leggings on but it did not make me feel any better!

This is up to date first aid suggestions. Simply get to emergency room / anti venom as quickly and calmly as possible. There is a good app simply called "first aid", that is nice to have. It gives straightforward answers for what needs to be done in most emergency situations. Our employees are required to have it on our phones. It is free as well.

I think the app is affiliated with Red Cross. There's a CPR app also.
They can be handy when you need them. You just never know, and can't be too prepared.
