My buddy got this bird yesterday at Skyline.
I hunted Friday morning and heard several birds and got on a bird that stayed 75-100 yards out for a couple of hours. Rain came and put a end to the hunt. So I had a game plan for the next morning. I will bring a buddy and one get above him and below him when we hear him on the roost. He was gobbling on the roost, I get on the bench above and the buddy on the one below. I call and he is all tore up and flies strait down on the bench he was roosted on. I was 50 yards from the bird but couldn't see him due to the slope of the land. This bird would walk maybe 10 yards strutting. He stayed in the same spot till my buddy pulled out his gobbler called and the bird broke and my buddy smoked him at 25 yards. In all it took 3 hours till from when we first heard him. I am fairly certain it was the same bird from the day before. I bet he gobbled 250 times and I got to hear 3 hours of spitting and drumming. https://imageshack.com/i/idVCIBnJj
