Just watched again... When you can hear that roar, he is CLOSE, turns your hat around. How far was he.... Again... Great  He was 13 yrds at the spot of the shot. I positioned us where he had to come over a rise to find us and when he did he would be in range but i had my lil buddy just to the left of me so in the footage when you hear the panicing of "shoot him" the gobbler was behind a pine and he couldnt see him. But it all worked out in the end.
