I was told that the one man saw his brothers legs at first, just found out that he saw his legs inside a doorway but his whole body was intact; not much of a comfort for that family but at least it wasn't what was made out at first.

I am sorry for all that y'all are going through. Our fire department had a couple of guys on the scene, and a few of us made it over there as they were stopping. I had heard about it earlier while at work (in Chelsea), and by the time I came by our station we had a second round of guys heading over there.
One of our guys asked how the trailer made it to where it was, and one guy said that some guy hooked to the trailer and pulled it out in a calm manner and that you took care of business. Kudos to you for handling it.

I guess it still hasn't hit me yet that I no longer have a job. Going to wait and see what they are going to have me do with the truck that is parked in my drive, after that I guess I will start job hunting. I know my wife really doesn't want me in a truck but she said she never thought that just going to load my trailer could get me killed, normally I would have been loading my trailer around that time so that all I would have had to do tomorrow is head out. They had sent the women in the plant that fold the towels home early just before the initial explosion, had I known that my run was ready I would have been there.
I guess this is God's way of saying He has a different job for me. Thanks to all of you but keep the families of the victims in your prayers as, well as, the other employees, Bibb Co. is a small place with very little employment opportunities

Jeremy Thanks but someone had to move the trailer and I was the one with the cdl and the keys, just wish I could have done more.

Update: apparently the one man that we were told died at UAB hospital is still alive; I was standing by the lady who practically ran the plant talking to her husband when she received the phone call about his death, so she was given misinformation. At least he is alive but he is pretty bad off.

Update: apparently the one man that we were told died at UAB hospital is still alive; I was standing by the lady who practically ran the plant talking to her husband when she received the phone call about his death, so she was given misinformation. At least he is alive but he is pretty bad off. Great news. If he's in the burn unit at UAB he's is the best hands in the world and chance for a recovery get even better after the first 24 hours.

Well here we go again; I was just told that a news report said that the burn victim died last night.
On a really good note; Just spoke with the owner of the plant who happens to own several other businesses, one of which is only a 1/4 mile away from this plant. I was told that we are having a meeting Monday at this plant and that I would retain my current salary minus my expense check that covered my cost for insurance. I have to say that I'm blown away by this. I got our $$$ back that we had prepaid for our vacation to Disney World but will hold onto it incase we need it to offset some of the loss.
