It must be horrible. There were tons of threads last year beginning in February about longbeards. I haven't seen a 3rd degree pattern yet. Everyone I've seen people have been disappointed.
Federal uses that flight control wad still, for some reason.

I want a marketing job for federal. If they could supply me with enough HWT 7.5's or 8's, I could put all the other commercial turkey load manufacturers out of business
I'm afraid whoever is in charge of shotshell load development over there isn't very perceptive.

If they were going to do a blended shell, which I happen to like, they should have done a blended one with all heavyweight shot instead of a mix of heavyweight and lead.

I dunno, I've had very good luck with the Federal Fusion ammo WHEN they work, they work great. Finding inconsistencies between bullets in a box; QC issues??
