My Mom, Martha Ann Wingo Hinton, taken from us on January 8tb 2014 at the hands of an intoxicated driver. She was sitting still in a parking spot in the parking lot of a Wendy's restaurant in Mobile at 1235 on a Wednesday afternoon. He went unresponsive and left the roadway striking her vehicle at 49 MPH. She was killed instantly. We never saw her again because she was so messed up. The intoxicated driver has only spent two hours in jail. He was found guilty of manslaughter and sentenced to 10 years to serve 33 months on February 25th. We were notified Friday that he is requesting a new trial and now we have a hearing on that Wednesday.
