I'm still sitting here with my shotgun waiting on my daughter to come home after her 3rd date with her boyfriend. She is supposed to be home by 10. I dont think she even knows that I actually keep count of the minutes, but ya'll know that I am a Nazi Nerd Control Freak who will kill anyone who dares mess with my child. I really hate these last 30 minutes mostly cause I dont want to have to fool with buckets and shovels at this late hour.

My daughter is 15 months old. I keep telling myself to take one day at a time and thats a long ways away, but the first year went by extremely fast. I will be in your shoes soon enough!

I felt the same way about my girl as she grew up Skinny. Then she met a fine young man and I am closer to him than anybody else in my family now. Grand daughter is the light of my life now! Good Lord has a way of looking out for us daddies when it comes to their baby girls. She will be fine, but just to be sure make sure your are sharpening the biggest knife you have when he brings her in.
