My dad was one of the best.He was a welder and overhead crane operator for CBI in Birmingham and I could never understand why he wouldn't teach me to weld.It is something I have always wanted to learn.I am so limited at what I can do around here because I don't know how to.I plan on taking welding classes up here at the Marshall county vocational school this year.Good luck to your son and tell him to stick with it.
Nothing wrong with welding, as it is a good, honest, hard to do job at times. As parents, we hope and want our children to do better than us. Only reason I would think of him not teaching you.
