The bats are superior to cheap bats but the kid has to be a good contact hitter first. If a kid can't put the bat on the ball a $300.00 bat isn't going to work magic. I know a family that bought 3-4 of them last year for a total of around $1,200.00, because their kid can't hit well. They kept thinking that surely the next bat would do the trick. The problem isn't his bat, the kid just isn't coordinated and can't hit well. I know this family well and know they can't afford to spend that kind of money but that's none of my business. I don't care if they spend $1,200 or $12,000. Doesn't cost me a dime.
