Yeah, I read that before I bought it. The guy I bought it from said he knee a mechanic that said that if you change the fuel filter every 10,000 or every time you change the oil then they are less likely to go bad. So I keep the filter changed regularly. Guess I can take it to have the injectors checked.


Also run some injector lube or motor oil through your filter base to lube them up in case you have a hanging injector. Today's diesle fuel sucks. It doesn't have any lubing properties.


Last time I put fuel in it I put a tube of Lucas lubricant and injector cleaner in it thinking it might help, with no luck obviously. I usually put some in the fuel once a month to try and clean things out.
