No telling how many hundreds I have killed with a 22 or 22 mag in the ear hole. But, that has no fancy name or slick catch-phrase......so, it ain't Cool!

Sure they do...Stinger, Yellow Jacket...that's catchy. Don't forget MiniMag and the old CCI "Viper"!

I'd love to shoot one with a 55 gr TSX. I think an AR carbine would be the ideal weapon, especially in 6.8

Anyone who says a 30/30 is too small for hogs has lost their mind!!! 30/30 is a killing machine and hogs are not these mythical creatures that are near bulletproof as everyone thinks they are. I have killed em 30/30 to the chest, 223 to the head, 308 to the chest and 45/70 to chest. With my 30-30 I didn't load any special ammo, just core-lokts. I completely understand your point about a nice easy gun to tote around in the woods. This really becomes nice when you have to drag the pig out and a nice light short rifle is much more manageable.

Show me where someone said a 30-30 wouldn't kill a pig...

Hogwild's Brain Dead Bullets packaged in both 22lr and 22WMR - Our motto is "The last thing that goes through the mind of a hog that's been shot in the ear hole, is our 22 round!" If you market it - I want a cut of the profits

I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

What gets people in trouble shooting hogs is using ballistic tip on big boars and aiming behind the front shoulder. That ole cartridge plate will suck them up.
