I do not understand why some of you can not understand that non Christians have the same rights and privileges.
That's the purpose of our becoming a nation. Freedom of religion was paramount in crossing the Atlantic for the new world. I don't want some Muslim telling me how my family should live.
The sanctity of Christian marriage is not effected by governmental laws. If a law is decreed that Christianity is illegal are you any less a Christian? Absolutely not. A covenant made between you and God is above any law. What a government considers to be a legal transaction between consenting adults has nothing more to do with my beliefs as a Christian than saying two women can own a business together.
