That's what makes a good judge, in your opinion?
My opinion is it has nothing to do with benefits and everything to do with further separating society from Christian ideals. If it wasn't they would be happy with civil unions or partnerships and you wouldn't have some private businesses forced to cater to them against their beliefs. It's agenda driven the same way racism is , these days. They want forced embracing of their lifestyle not just acceptance.
This is nothing more than a civil union. That is all it is if two heterosexuals go to the courthouse and get a judge to marry them. But, they call it marriage too. What about common law marriage, that is legal for heterosexuals.
Again, what this opinion did was force the state to issue licenses for civil unions, the word marriage is used because it is the common vernacular.
A private business or church can not be forced to perform a gay marriage. But, they can be forced to provide the same benefits to gays and they do to others.
