Give me a break, this issue is not about a word, it is about protection committed gay life partners, lover, husbands and husband or how ever else you want to put it. so that they can get the same benefits and protections as heterosexual married couples.
So, what's your argument against polygamy, incest, or bestiality? And why isn't everyone fighting tirelessly for these causes, because they have followers and they are all in loving relationships.
There is no argument that can support gay marriage and not suppport the others listed above.

I honestly don't have an issue with consensual polygamy. Why do you? I am not talking about child molesters like Warren Jeffs and those guys. But, consenting adults, I have no issue with.
