I'm looking for a riding mower for about an acre yard. Only have a few obstacles and only minimal slope.
Budget is less than $1500
Need to be able to mulch.
What have yall had good luck with?

A used JD. Not a Lowes one, a real one.

If you can wait a couple months I'll have a Cub Cadet 149 available in your price range, mows like a sheep and goes like a billy goat, in Lincoln...

I bought one last year from a Sunsouth John Deere dealer in that price range. 48" cut 2 cylinder engine 12 months same as cash. Replaced previous one I bought from same dealer. Used it 8 years, gave it to my son, it's still going

Bigbamaboy,I love that idea. My wife and the HOA...not so much. Thanks for the replies. I've looked at a couple of JDs and a few CCs. All of the one I've looked at have been from the big box stores though. Anyone have any luck with troybilt or snapper? There is (or atleast used to be) a dealer for both pretty close to me that does service work as well.
