To know what im shooting! I want the best ammo I can possible make. I want every bullet to go in the same hole when I pull the trigger. And if it doesnt, I know that it was MY fault not the ammo

I load so that I'm not at the mercy of any retailer for ammo. EVERY year there are several on here that bitch and gripe 2 or 3 days before deer season opener that they can't find ammo. I will never have that problem.

Yep, hard to find ammo(without ordering it) for a 7mm-08. Plus just seems like fun tinkering. Havent loaded the first round yet but getting closer. Start up costs are HIGH

1) Precision/Accuracy 2) Supply issues (I keep supplies in stock so when I can't find them on the market I can still make ammo) 3) Zombie apocalypse preparation

I'm slowly buying all my reloading equipment. I started last fall when I couldn't find my favorite 243 Federal Premium 85grn Game king HP load anywhere, including on line.

I started because 280Rem was hard to find and choices were limited. Used to be a guy on here named William who made a comment about if you reload you shoot more and you'll be better. It rang a bell because I like to shoot but didn't much because ammo was expensive. It morphed Ito an enjoyable hobby and when certain kinds of ammo started being hard to find and expensive I realized the value of being able to produce my own whenever I wanted it the way I wanted it. An ancillary benefit is that as you learn how to roll your own you learn a lot more about calibers and ballistics than the average hunter.

For all those who come up short on ammo right before deer season now is the time to stock up while it's back and on the shelves. If you reload start collecting your supplies so you'll be ready.. Powder/Primers are back.. Brass for the most part is back and bullets are aplenty.
I was cranking out plenty of ammo all during the shortage because I had stocked up well before it all became an issue. I'm still cranking it out and never missed a beat.. Don't wait till the shelves are bare to stock up.. Do it now while it's on the shelves.

x2 ! Im still hoarding up as much bullets, primers, and powder as I can. In less than 2 years it will be election time! Remeber how easy it was to get powder and primers before the " Anti-Christ took office 6 years ago???? Stock up for the next 2 years like it your last chance ever and you will be fine!

I use to keep enough supplies to load for all the guns my friends had and any gun that I may acquire in the future, but during the supply scare I sold off alot of stuff I didn't think I would use. Kinda wish I would have kept all that 44mag stuff now. I even sold off alot of powder but I still got enough of the primary powders I use to last a good while.

I'm kinda glad you sold off the 44mag stuff. The brass we got from you has been and still is getting put to good use. Thanks.
