In the end..what we think or feel does not really matter. We all have free will. We all will have to answer for our actions one day. If anyone was really and truly surprised by this news or caught totally off guard then I would really be worried about your reasoning skills.
I don't agree with it. Marriage is a religious institution that is referenced as a relationship between between Christ and believers many times in the scripture not only man and woman. Satan has always worked to disrupt, corrupt and pervert the most sacred things that God created on this Earth why would present times be any different.
God will "allow" some to be turned over to reprobate minds. There comes a point where he will simply say "OK. Do what you will with your own lives." Not to say that he would not also forgive you later, but at what cost?
Bottom line..government can be accepting of many things but in the end there will be a judgement. Rest assured it will not be at the hands of the Federal government. I dont have to relax my beliefs system not one bit. I have the right to disagree just as strongly.

Agreed, but having a marriage certificate/license gives married folks certain rights. Tax benefits, etc. Marriage is a legal contract between two people recognized by the government. Gay people should be allowed to enter into this contract just as much as straight people. If two people love each other and treat each other well why should they not be allowed to share the legal rights that marriage provides? How does two people having a legal document and expressing their commitment to one another have any bearing on your life? marriage is NOT a legal contract between 2 people recognized by the government. Homosexuals can have civil unions or legal partnerships but they CAN NOT have a marriage. The reason they are so adamant on having it called "marriage" is to further weaken the biblical principles that our society has recognized for several hundred years. Ok, so if marriage is a biblical union, then why does no one have a problem with Athiests, Muslims, Hindus, etc... Being married?

They will be living the exact same life after they receive their "civil union" or marriage or whatever other word you would prefer certificate that they are now except they would be granted certain rights and benefits that they do not have now. Except for the ring on my finger and me calling my wife my wife you would not know if we were married or just dating and whether we are married or just dating or living together doesn't change a thing in your world and you probably don't care either way, so what is the difference?

Now, there may be more worldly cost to homosexuality than for a little white lie but without God's grace they will both send you to the same destination. You are also correct that God might give them over to their own depraved minds, the same way He might give others over who reject his calling. We are all at the mercy of God's Grace and thankfully it is there for any who repent and believe. There will be some former homosexuals enter the kingdom of God just like there will be some who claim righteousness that will enter the gates of hell.

It is what it is......and nobody is gonna stop it. It will be legal in all 50 states soon enough. Agree or disagree we will all have to learn to live with it. Gay people are people just like us, why single them out and not allow them to enjoy life as the rest of us do? Some cite the bible and use religious reasons but we have separation of church and state so that's not gonna work. Lots more religions in this country than Christianity. Heck Christianity wasn't even the first religion in this country but listening to some people you'd think it is the end all be all. We are a mixed country in every way you can possibly measure, so tolerance is a virtue, especially here!
And yes gays are welcome to the misery of marriage just like the rest of us. HA!
If you want to get married to your pet then have at it for all I care, lol. What part of the Constitution separates church and state?

God created black ppl and white ppl by His perfect design, but he never created a human to be homosexual. So at what point did you face your decision? I personally was just attracted to women that was it. So you think gay people at some point say to themselves "I am attracted to the opposite sex, but I choose to be with the same sex instead."? That makes sense.
