Marriage is a legal contract between two people recognized by the government. Gay people should be allowed to enter into this contract just as much as straight people. If two people love each other and treat each other well why should they not be allowed to share the legal rights that marriage provides? How does two people having a legal document and expressing their commitment to one another have any bearing on your life? That's some of the most convoluted logic I've ever heard.
