Man that sounds like an awful lot of blood to come out a .284" hole. That sounds more to me like a commercial for absolutely perfect bullet performance.


I really wish I would have taken pics. I was amazed by it at the time. It was so weird walking up. A bright red line, I'm guessing where the bullet just sucked the blood out on its way through, and it was clear that it had wrapped around her. Didn't believe what I had seen through the scope. She was on the small side for a doe though. At 55 yards that SST was still humming along around 3,120 FPS. It hit her doing 2,127 MPH lol.

An SST will sure mess one up, I've got a couple pictures of some holes these things have put in deer, but i dont do photo bucket.
