Ok about ready to pull the switch and head down to ALabama. I have all my LIC in check and have a good handle on the legal equipment and such.

Someone tell me about access roads. Are they accessable with a 4x2? Are they mostly Chirt/dirt roads?

I hunted Alabama Paper Company land back in the 80'ss and 90's and it was mostly Red Clay and mud. You really needed a 4x4 or Jeep to get around.

All I have is a Honda Pilot SUV 4x2.

You will be ok with a 2WD. Only got stuck out there once and it was coming a flood then.

Roads are fine with any 2x4.
