I used to shoot 180g Winchester silver tips years ago and they were just like the lead tip corelokts. I'm sure some of y'all remember them but I have not seen them anywhere in several years. Several deer while skinning them had little bits and peices of what looked like aluminum, anyways I would love to have a few boxes of them again. My 308 really liked those and they did a great job. I've shot corelokts since the silver tips went off the shelves. A well placed shot goes a long ways.
