Call me silly, but I call it adaptation. Deer have been fed in Texas for how many years? I think the young ones get so used to it that it becomes natural to them as they age, and they bring their yearlings to the pile and so on. In other words, they have been conditioned to it over many years of feeding. Have any of you guys been to texas when that feeder goes off deer come running. I too have often wondered why Texas deer seem to act differently from Alabama deer.
