Just wanna say I love my son! God is Good!! The title above is the title of a DVD that we are working on, Me and Him... Well with Deer season almost over we are living through it. He has followed me in 18 degree weather to try and get him his first deer with his crossbow. Now we could prolly pick up a rifle, but this far it is an obstacle we will overcome. We have had some friends allow us to hunt their properties, but I do feel they have been shot out last few yrs. We have hunted every weekend and have not seen a deer. Most movement is at night per cameras, but seems as if we should at least have been blown at or busted. We are hunting smart with wind and all. One property is 160 acres and they killed 12 off it last yr. killed 5 or 6 this yr. We hunted it prolly 5 weekends in a blind on a spot in previous years I have seen 12-13 on the field to now 0. So all the arguments with does etc. I believe too many deer shot can hinder a property. We hunted at another place sat thru Monday and did not see a deer. Just gets discouraging but God is good and it is on his timing. We gave it all to him but sometimes my flesh is weak. My son has not complained once, and has grown as a hunter and also in his faith. I am so blessed that God has given me a son. So the rest of this season we will Walk by Faith!
