Been after this deer for 2 years and finally see him tonight at 30 yards and see he's broke about 6 inches off his left g2 and about 3 inches off his left g3 so I gave him a pass. Kind of bummed about it bit now hope he makes it through the rest of the year without getting shot. Hope I made the right decision

Looks a little young, he'll put on a lot of mass next year. You did the right thing.

That is a 3 year old brute.I believe you made the right decision that will reward you next year. The difference in 3-4 is amazing .

I'd say he is 4+ but hopefully he'll make it and you'll pop him next year

That is NOT a three year old. He's at least 4, and leaning more toward 5.

The decision you made is totally your business. At his age, you may never see him again. No harm is letting him walk.

Ya,we were guessing him to be 4.
To matt brock: is it safe to say that when a big deer like that gets busted up like he was, that there is a bigger deer out there kicking butt,or could he just as easily have broken it on a dink 4 point as he could anot her stud?
