Two of my sons have the 2007 Tahoes and they "burn" oil really often. One thing is these kids rely on the computer and dashboard messages, they don't ever use the dip stick. I also think they really aren't burning oil, but it's just bypassing through the system is why you don't see smoke. They don't go through the oil consistently, it seems like it's usually long steady drives at less than interstate speeds. Around town they don't use it. On a 300 mile drive down the interstate it doesn't use it. But a 30 mile drive through the country twice a day will burn two quarts in a week. My wife's 2005 suburban hasn't burned a quart between oil changes in 10 years.


not sure what the best way to handle them is but they shouldnt be on tv and gettn married and raisin kids
