FYI...
Gander mtn has River's Edge 20' climbing sticks on sale for $59 plus another 10% off which makes it $53. (reg price $79). Just bought 3 sets of them.
I already have one set I bought last year, and although they're not easily portable, they work really, really well....very sturdy and easy to install...good for those like me that put them up and leave them during the season and just move your loc-on stand when you want to change locations.

those would work, too...the thing I like about the other ones is they have steps on both sides all the way up (instead of alternating steps)....safer for my 12 yr old son to climb

I bought some back in August. Their not the best but do the job. I like ameristep better.

I have the millennium m25...very nice and comfortable. But I want to get the M50...pretty much same stand except it's MUCH easier to hang and a lot more portable.
The m25 I leave up during the season. But with several sets of climbing sticks put out, if I get the m50, I can take up and down every hunt because it's so much easier to install and take down. Literally only takes couple of minutes
The Lone Wolf assault II looks very nice too...pricey, but thinking about that one also.
My ultimate goal is to have two easily portable loc-ons with multiple climbing sticks set up where my son and I can both hunt out of same tree.

Sportsmans guide has 20' climbing sticks everyday for $35. I've got about 10 sets that stay out all year.

The millenium seats are very very comfortable. I could sit in that stand all day

I hate climbing sticks, but they might be better then cinder blocks for the first 10 feet.

Got a friend that makes them for me. He does 6ft sections with level steps(on both sides). Those make hanging lock-ons much easier!! Years ago I used tree steps, never could get my distances even and plus it took me longer to do the steps than hanging the stand, that chit got old quick.
