I have been looking at getting these two items for a while now. Well I got a gift card for Christmas and ordered them. Seat looks like it is going to be awesome! The comfort mat I ordered because my feet freeze no matter what I do... So I am thinking that keeping them off the metal of the climber will help. I am going to try them in the morning and we'll see if they were worth the money.

I got one of those cottonwood outdoor covers, to keep the seat dry.

Those wrap around seats are great.you can even put hand/body warmers in the pockets, but I don't think it will help much in the morning... Its gonna be miserable. Good luck!

I have a surround seat in my ol man climber. Works like a charm, very comfortable.

I ordered the Summit Surround Seat this fall. The seat is really nice but the front straps that snap the seat to the stand broke the first time I used them.
Called Summit and got a replacement seat and it did the same thing. I got fed up and just tied the straps to the bar.

The comfort mats are great. I have an older one that is softer and more quiet than the current models. I mount mine fuzzy side down, shuffle my feet without a sound, better traction too.

Do yourself a favor and sleep in. Hunt 8 or 9 to 12. Ive seen few deer on frigid cold days except late morning or the pm hunt.

I think the comfort mat helped with my cold feet problem. I sat from 10 till 4 today didn't see a deer.. My buddy sat on a green field 2 till dark and saw a spike...
