Dang, that mount looks like they put horns on a calf. But what a set of horns!
Funny thing is, my grandfather cut the rack off and had it hanging in the barn for a few years, a taxidermist in the area heard about it and mounted it for free if my grandfather would let him use it in some taxidermy competition. Seems like I remember him telling me the guy won. I know it's hard to believe with the way the mount looks, but it probably wasn't a bad one back then. I plan on using a cape off a buck I kill one day to have it redone, I just keep putting it off because I'll be worried the entire time it's gone from my house.
