Where do y'all see deer around town?

I see them occasionally along the I-459 corridor. But I have yet to see any deer in Mountain Brook or up on Red Mountain in the Forest Park area. Are there deer around those areas?

I have seen them in Liberty Park, and in the neighborhood around Mountain Brook high school. I know some people that live on Brookwood Road that have them in their yard.

I have seen one dead by the water works on 280.

We have turkeys around my house in Crestline.

dk, I meant to ask you about this. My parents are in Cherokee Bend and have a hen turkey that showed up (then left) last year and is back now. Where in Crestline are you, and have you seen any gobblers?

I live off Euclid. I know about the hen in Cherokee Bend, I have seen her walking down the road.

Yes, I have seen gobblers. There was one that lived behind the JCC. There was another one that lived behind the apartments where John Carroll Field used to be. Before they built those apartments, he would get out there and strut.

There were some that roasted at the top of street. But, they built houses up there and they have moved on.

We had some friends who lived off Old Leeds. They had a bunch of them. I can not confirm that a couple where accidentally shoot while the owner was practicing with his bow.

I fish on the cahaba near 280 and in irondale, and I see deer out there more often than not. I have never seen one in the red mountain woods, but I know they are there. I live in southside, i have never seen deer down here but we have some KING size possums and raccoon's.

Lakeshore Parkway between Besemer and Oxmoor has a good bit of deer traffic.

Liberty park used to have a hunting club on it before the houses came in.. Ive seen deer in there a well as hogs near its exit on 459.

There are deer and hogs both almost in north Bham. Ive seen deer on the back side of Acipco, and right where the corridor X interchange is going up on 65 ive seen hogs on the side of the road there.

We always see lots of deer around the wooded areas near walmart in Inverness.Might I add some have been really good bucks.

Had one cross 280 near Meadowbrook and nearly hit it. It was around 4 in the afternoon

North bound side I-65 just before the Vestavia exit & I-65 south just past the Rocky Ridge Road bridge before The Cahaba River.

Highland lakes, brook highland, eagle point, liberty park, heatherwood, south lake, the altadena golf course, anything on 119. the hoover met. Pretty much anywhere in birmingham that has 20-30 acres of woods or more, will have deer in it.

Deer common along Hwy 150 corridor from Patton Creek on down to Shades Crest Road. Lots from there all the way to Bessemer.

Tons of wood lots on each side of I459 into the neighborhoods full of deer.

Vestavia has several between Acton Road over to Altadena Road and Dolly Ridge

I live near Mountain Brook High School and have them in the front yard almost every night. Thinking about setting up a camera and throwing some corn out.

Hey AlabamaPhi we are neighbors. Tons of suburban deer all over Mountain Brook. Plenty in Hoover as well.

All over my neighborhood. Ballentrae. I watch them in my yard and across the street in my neighbors yard daily.

Ballentrae and Weatherly are loaded with deer. One of the largest bucks I've seen in Alabama walked through a yard grunting while I was up on a ladder checking a window in old weatherly.

When I worked in the Grandview building off of 280 we had a buck deer run through a window.

I remember that happening.

They are eating my shrubs in Hoover; anybody know a good repellant?
