Took this cool video yesterday afternoon. He came in early and was chasing does and grunting all afternoon. Hands down the most vocal deer I have ever had the privilege to watch. He even did something that sounded like the buck roar that they advertise on tv. Thought long and hard about shooting him. He was pretty, but just didn't have enough tine length for me to be totally thrilled with him. So I let him walk. Hopefully one of the youngins will get him this year or he'll be even better next year. Turn the volume all the way up!! The loudest grunt is at 5 seconds! Mash Here

Cool video. Deer mighit be as big as he will ever be though, looks mature to me. I thought so too, but theres a couple kids that hunt there that have yet to kill a good buck so I left him for them. I already got two this year bigger than him so I figured he'd have to be a sure nuff jaw dropper for me to justify another taxidermy bill haha

Cool!! I heard one roar one time. Actually several times. This was before the buck roar came out. Heard it several times and had no idea what I was hearing but figured I may have to shoot it in self defense. Then a doe comes running into the woods on the edge of the clear cut with her to gue hanging out. I then put 2 and two together and got my gun up and was ready. She kept going after a brief pause exactly where I wod have an awesome shot. Kept waiting and waiting and then I heard it again but farther away. Must have been running multiple does and he stuck with a different doe. I loved hunting that stand. Saw bucks everytime I hunted it in the morning. No one else hunted it

Awesome video. I was given a buck roar as a Christmas present last year but never use it. I may have to try it now.

Definitely a mature deer. He doesn't come out in the middle of a plot during day time much!! Hope someone else gets the opportunity on him.
