Hi, I am new to the forum. I actually live in Kentucky and I was wondering if any of you hard core turkey hunters would like to swap out a hunt ? For starters I only bow hunt and I am not a turkey hunter but I am overrun with them here. I would love to have a place to come bow hunt in late jan/feb that has some decent deer and/or hogs.No offense to anyone but I am a christian and I have no desire for a bunch of drinking and partying, just bowhunting. If anyone would be interested please let me know, Thanks in advance

Well don't really have a great place to offer up on the deer hunt but if I did I would take that deal in a minute. I'll check a place or 2 and see if I can find anything. Any interest in leasing your place for turkey season? I'd be interested in that as well and then you could use that money to go on a hunt.

Where is your place in KY. And are you looking for trophy bucks or just a quality hunt?

So if you drink and party you are not a Christian? Learn something every day.

Thanks guys ! As for the deer yes I would prefer quality deer, I know the deer arent as big but I like to hunt for deer that are at least 3 years old or older and I would love to hunt some hogs. As for my area I am north of Bowling Green, Butler and Ohio co. area. I have around 600 acres here at my home and about 200 acres a few minutes away. The last thing I was after when I posted this was to get in a religious debate but to answer your question. When I was lost I was the one who drank and started the party every night. After I was saved and became a christian, God changed my heart and my desires and drinking and partying is no longer a part of my life and I must say life has never been better for me. Thanks for you replys guys, I hope I get the chance to meet some of you.

No sir not interested in leasing the rights. The land here at our home is my father in laws and we raise cattle. I am the only the only one who hunts and no one has ever turkey hunted here. I dont care anything about it and we are getting overrun with them. If someone has a hunting club or private land and would like to swap out a hunt that would be good with me. If I can work something out with someone to come hunting in late jan or feb, you can come here and turkey hunt all you want this spring, maybe we could make it a yearly event. Its always good to meet and fellowship with other hunters.

If someone hasn't taken you up on your offer I might be able to help offer a hunt. We have the deer and hogs. It will have to be in Feb as I have a buddy flying in from Missouri on my next scheduled off time this month.

It would be the last week of jan or first of feb before I could make it anyway. And also I am not one of those that has to be babysit. Just show me a block of woods and turn me loose, I am not a real big food plot hunter. I prefer to hunt creek bottoms pinch points and funnels out of my tree saddle, I really dont care to hunt others stands, just like to do my own thing. It would be the same for the turkey hunting here, I will show you the property lines, tell you what I know and turn you loose.
