Gongrats on the buck. Just got in the ladder stand with my 11 year old. We haven't been back here in about 2 weeks and look what we found this morning. Hopefully he'll be back before dark to freshen his scrapes up

I hope this small pine tree that I climbed is going to hold out. Going to be a tough shot on this rocking tree. Watching a road crossing this afternoon going through the middle of a growed up clear cut

doe down. Didn't plan on hunting but decided to give it a go and glad I did. Coyotes pushed 4 deer to me and I could only get a shot on a small doe and took it. Maybe the yotes will push a buck to me

About 3 minutes after I posted about nothing moving, 5 does topped a hill in the cutover at 300 yards. They bedded down. I tried to get on one but with 20+ mph winds in the tripod, it was impossible! My wife got tired of where she was and came over and she climbed in the tripod while I tried a stalk on 3 that were still bedded. It was too thick from ground level to see them though. She could see them still bedded but I couldn't find them. Let them have the W on that match.
Back after it this afternoon. Hoping me or my wife can smoke a doe this afternoon.

Bucks are cruising hard today. Mature 6 and 8 points shot with many younger bucks also seen.
