I have both and hunted out of my Treewalker this morning, which I have been using all year (what little I've hunted). It's been awhile since I used my Summit, but left my Treewalker in the woods this morning and needed my Summit to climb this afternoon. I was reminded why I like my Treewalker the best. It climbs better, is quiter, and has much more room. I also like being able to face either way with plenty of room to put my feet up in necessary. I like my Summit, but will always take the Treewalker first when I have the option.

You will be scolded harshly by the Summit army on here. They have never tried anything else and the tv and magazine mega exposure says there the best.

Be careful

Yeah, I've been around the board awhile and I know your right about that. I used to think the same thing until I tried one. Hard to compare one verses the other unless you've hunted out of both. It was actually a discussion on this board a couple years back that convinced me to give the TW a try.

All I have ever used is summits and I like them a lot, so much that I 4. I will admit though that I dont like climbing anything but a pine tree with them. But with all this treewalker talk I may have to give them a go when I get a new one.

The world needs more people holding deer in pictures, and less people holding cameras in front of mirrors.

I wouldn't own a summit. No hard feelings to the summit army, but I like a Lone Wolf.

I wish they would take the best parts of both of them and make one perfect stand.

There's not much difference in weight between Summit Viper and the Treewalker, the both weigh about 18 lbs.

i would hope that a $400 dollar stand would be better than a $250(summit).

I've never tried a Lone Wolf, but I remember the debate that took place on this board a couple years ago had me trying to figure if I was going with the Lone Wolf or the Treewalker. I can't remember what swayed me to try buy the TW over the Lone Wolf, but I haven't been disappointed. I'm sure the Lone Wolf is a great stand as well, based on the comments from others on here.

Agree- I've yet to find a better climbing stand than a Treewalker.

If you lease your property, before going out and buying a treewalker, y'all better make sure your lessor doesn't have a problem with climbers that use spikes to grip the tree. Our lease specifically states that we can't. They make the trees "bleed" pretty good.

I sat in my M100-U for the first time today and was thinking about how much better I like my Summit 180 Max. If Tree Walker is that much better than the Summit I may have to spring for one.
