One locally famous turkey hunter got his limit of turkeys one year somewhere along about 1980. All the pics in the paper. Proud as he was he quit hunting April 1. Somebody at T&S asked him why he was hanging around instead of hunting...said he heard through the grapevine that his season was over since he had his picture in the paper to finish his limit! Hard pill to swallow for him! Never had his picture made again to put in the paper!!!
