I encountered him a few times when I was younger and he was friendly but professional . Jimmy could run as fast and as long as any Lawman I know. From my recollection he only stopped to catch his breath once in a short hilly marathon he and I ran one time.

The South East corner of Alabama has a lot of very good Game and Fish officers.
If I'm not mistaken, Jimmy played football for Auburn and still holds some kind of record there. He could flat out fly back in the day. Joey Carroll and his partner Larry Doster are both good men and are both originally from Dale county. We are very fortunate to have the quality wardens we have in our area.
