That is a nice breakdown over a 10 year period, and the price per pig does seem very economical after 10 years. The only problem I see is that if you assume he catches 100 in year 1 and catches 100 a year through year 10, he probably needs to try a different approach because he isn't really putting a dent in the population.
You would hope to see an exponential decline in hog population over a 10 year period if your method was truly effective. I would say it was very economical the first year. All the other years were just gravy.
