Hoop cheese (any decent cheese) on gravy and biscuit. One slice on each biscuit half then put the gravy on and melt it. You can thank me later. Any restaurant will look at you like you are crazy if you ask to add cheese to a gravy and biscuits.

A slice of american cheese on a Krispy Kreme doughnut is also good stuff. (10-15 sec. in the microwave)

Might as well be putting sugar in those grits. Dang yankee! Grits needs butter, salt, pepper and a little cream cheese.

I have a habit of adding a dash or two of cinnamon when canning homemade salsa and spaghetti sauce. Also when making a big pot of vegetable soup or some meatloaf, even add it to the seasonings when grilling.

For all you mayonnaise lovers and TC.

How to Use Mayonnaise as a Hair Conditioner
As a conditioner, mayonnaise is great for improving hair moisture (being a humectant), luster and shine. It also rejuvenates hair by providing nutrients like lecithin not found in commercial conditioners. It is also a safer option to using raw eggs or egg yolks since most mayonnaise produced in a factory is free of salmonella which can cause a scalp infection.

1Take the mayonnaise out of the refrigerator 1/2 to 1 hour before using it and allow it to warm to room temperature. The fats and oils from the mayonnaise enter the follicles of your hair more readily if the mayonnaise is warm. Use approximately 1/2 cup of mayonnaise, more or less depending on the length of your hair.

2Rinse your hair with hot water before applying the mayonnaise but do not shampoo it. When your hair is heated the follicles open, allowing the conditioner to enter the strands.

4Cover your hair with a plastic shower cap or a plastic bag and then place a towel over your head to hold the heat in. Leave the mayonnaise in your hair for at least a 1/2 hour and up to 1 hour, depending on the level of conditioning your hair needs.

5Remove the towel and plastic covering and rinse the mayonnaise from your hair with hot water. Allow your hair to air dry and wait 24 hours before shampooing. Any oil that remains after rinsing out the mayonnaise will continue to condition your hair until you wash it.

Tips
For extremely dry and damaged hair, leave the mayonnaise on over night. Protect your pillow from oil stains with a plastic cover in case the plastic covering over your hair leaks while you sleep. Or, cover the plastic shower cap with a tighter-fitting over cap to be sure it stays in place.

For extra conditioning power, try adding 1/4 cup vegetable or olive oil and 2 egg yolks to your mayonnaise conditioner. Store any unused conditioner in the refrigerator and warm it to room temperature before use.

Leftover conditioner also makes a great facial mask. Apply it to a clean face and leave on for 10 to 20 minutes before washing it off with mild face soap and hot water. Also try it as a rub-in lotion on dry hands, feet and elbows.

Instead of mayonnaise, you can also use egg oil.

When I was woke up with a work call this morning at 2 I grabbed me some hersey kisses as stumbled to my computer. It made me want a bag of popcorn with M&M's dumped in the bag. I dont eat popcorn much but when I do it has to have some chocolate mixed in.

Mayo on turnip greens or collards is the bomb. I like mayo on baked potatoes, mashed potatoes, in mac & cheese, on pinto beans, in broccoli casserole, and I use it in many other recipes. And I will say, Duke's is my fave.
