I've run across a few stands people got out already. Got to love the couple of guys hunting right on the property lines looking on private property. Going to be pretty warm too, if it had been last weekend it would have been a good hunt.

The dang campground out at Poplar springs is already packed. I went out there yesterday to do some touch ups on the camper and there was people everywhere.

I have heard tons of horror storries of people hunting the gun hunts ..... is it just crowded the first couple of hunts because gun season opens or is it always like this

Give ol green jeans positive ID for who he needs to be looking for! Ought to be a blast....

How about all those guys with stands on private land looking on the WMA? I'm just kidding of course Crowding the line is contentious whether it's public/private or private/private but they're often great places to hunt due to the edge effect and different habitat types coming together. I love to hunt edge/terrain breaks.
