A buddy of mine got tired of people stealing deer stands,(he lost 6).He bought a gps device,that was as big as a pack of cigarettes.He took the seat cover off and carved out a section That it would fit in.He installed the gps and replaced the seat cover.The next weekend the stand was gone.He contacted the local sheriffs dept,and they followed the gps signal to a residence.After some time the home owner admitted to having the stand but that was the only one he had ever taken.Even though the man didn't admit to stealing the stand he was charged with trespassing and theft.The funny thing was the next weekend one of his stands showed back up.
