Well I did not get a place to camp so I am on this shucks motel. Used s whole can of Lysol already... But I am getting to hunt Kentucky in prime time so I guess it's worth it. I am about to head out for the afternoon hunt. I'll try and keep yall updated if I have service.

Thanks guys. I got set up a little before 1 today. Found some old rubs and some semi fresh scrapes and sat up there. Didn't see anything. Here is my set up today.  This was on the side of the road. For some reason his rack didn't show up. He was a decent 8.  Got some inside I formation on the area I have to morrow. Hopefully it works out and I see some deer and if I'm licky a shooter! Either way I'm happy just being here. Kentucky/upper Tennessee are my favorite place to hunt!

Saw a 6 pt this morning. Missed s coyote too... Nothing else all day. My morning set.  Rub I found on the way in for evening hunt  Evening set up

Came in a little late this mornin so I could see where to set up. It was 17 at 0500 and it's about 21 now. Bumped a couple and found a fresh scrape and I have acorns dropping. Maybe I'll get lucky. I am gonna try and set till 11 and then I'm done for the day. Gotta watch the Bama game! Found this on the way in.  My set today.

Yes mam I would be. That's why I have a cell Phone. And I don't have to worry about that now do I  Bucks come first, bunch of grown men running around in tight pants well you can watch that.

Well I lucked out today. I got one of the best areas for Ft Campbell to hunt today. I over slept and got in late this mornin. I hunted till 11 and didn't see anything. I thought I was in the right place but it turns out I wasn't. I saw a guy on the side of the road and stopped to talk to him. He showed me where the area actually was and man did I get excited. I had seen a big buck out in a cut corn field on Friday in what I though was off limits. Come to find out it wasn't. So I thank him get in the car and drive to that spot. I got set up by 1230. The area I was in was a bedding area and I bumped a few deer going in. There were more rubs in this area than I have ever seen before. Some old some fresh. There were a few scrapes too. I picked out a good line and climbed as high as I could. A little after teo I had two does feed through. Then at four I decied to use s grunt and a doe bleat. A few mins later a big chocolate horned 8 was walking by in the cut corn. I stood up and grunted at him. He turn and walked into the woods but the. Started walking away from me. I hit the snort wheeze and he started come straight to me! I grabbed my bow to get ready. That's when I noticed my release wasn't on. I had taken it off to put my jacket on. I quickly got it on and got ready. The buck walked in to about 25. I mouth bleated at him he stopped. He was quartering to me but I felt comfortable taking the shot. The arrow hit its mark. He ran maybe 80 yards and crashed. SWHACKED! I was beyond excited. This is my first bow buck. It's my best deer hunting trip in my life. Hope yall enjoyed the story and here are some pics. My set up  He is a main frame 8 with two kickers off his right G2 weighted 165 pounds.
