If you're ever traveling in GA and come across an Ole Times, it's not too bad. One in Valdosta had chitlins last time I was in there. So good I went back for seconds. If you know chitlins you know seconds is a heap.

For a buffet Mildreds and the Old Cookstove are hard to beat. But I don't think I ever got sick off of one.

Well MAN i dunno what i got, but i should've went to the Hospital, cause laid on the couch at home all night, and into the nxt day leaking out of every orifice i had 😳😳😳🤣🤣🤣🤣

Just remember the biggest case of Bioterrorism, excluding Covid, which I truly believe was likely Bioterrorism, was from a cult in Oregon infecting the salad bar at a buffet so everyone in the town was too sick to vote in local elections and only cult members would be elected to the City Council. They sprayed E-Coli on the salad. There was a good documentary about it on Netflix but I can't recall the name except that it has Wild in the title. Wild Wild Country is the name. I'm just slow sometimes but I get there.

Because there ain't no sick like food poisoning.. I'm curious. Any of y'all that have contracted food poisoning from eating out, have you ever reported your illness to the appropriate health department? Would your doctor do that? I got a righteous case one Christmas eve-eve, from Mrs. Winners (remember them?). I was so sick I could not drive. I had enough wits about me to call the health dept to see if anyone had reported getting sick from there in recent days. No luck. I was too sick to pursue it. But I've never forgotten it! That was probably 1993.

I got something in texarkana 25 years ago that was awful. Bout 3rd week seriously wondered if i would die. Had the running chits! It would hit me throughout day and would hav to race to bathroom. Got real raw and worse got dehydrated. Thought it came from either sonic or using same plastic water bottle over and over and not cleaning

sometimes it can be hard to tell if it's food poisening or nora virus. 6 months ago I got very very sick after eating at salt grass steakhouse and swore it was the food but 3 days later my wife got the same thing so I new it was the nora virus then.
