The deer was found in Midway, AL - Monroe County - Just north of Beatrice. The tips of the horns were chewed on by rodents I am guessing. We had a guy leasing this property from us last year. He told my dad he missed a good 10pt last season. Never said it was that big. When asked if he was sure he missed he said yes there was no need to go look. We found the head approx. 100 yards from where he said he shot at it while pushing a new plot. Almost got it with the dozer. Needless to say, the new leasers are excited about the find.

I got to hold the head the other day. The mass was amazing. Tommy has some studs on their place.

I have hunted in peterman, monroeville and Beatrice. I never would have thought a deer like that could exist in that area. Wow!

There's some fine ones still around,I've seen a trailcam pic of a 14 point that's a stud within 10 miles of where Tommy found this one,my dad and uncle have killed a lot of big deer in that area throughout the years,I've seen several from around there that are as big or bigger over the years

That deer has some serious mass. Especially for Alabama.
