I now it's still a LONG two weeks away but I was looking at the TV schedule for that day. As an LSU fan, I was hopeful that the game would be at night, but in my opinion, that changed with an LSU victory against Ole Miss. I figured CBS would pick that game up for the 2:30 slot. It appears CBS chose that weekend as their doubleheader with the A&M/AU game being the same day. What are the chances CBS bumps the LSU/Bama game to the 7:00 slot?

I think that is a no brainer for the bama LSU game to be the prime time match up. Especially after LSU beat ole miss. Its gonna be a good one!

I don't know how, but LSU games are always night games. I suspect this one will be no different.

CBS puts their Prime time game at 2:30. So I figure it will be the 2:30 slot unless they want to add the "mystique" of "Death Valley at Night". We Shall see..

If I'm not mistaken CBS only gets to air one primtime (night game) for the whole season and it has been that way for a couple of years now.

I just talked to a Sports guy I know In television, He said it will be the Night game 7pm. LSU manages to get the night games just when they need them the most. It's gonna be a long wait with an off week but I'm ready for it!

Night game is no big deal..Bama's record is better at tiger stadium as is lsu's in tuscaloosa..I'm concerned now though cause I believe it's gonna be a very physical game..Then Bama plays Miss st. The weekend after..Miss st. Plays a cupcake team that week so they should be pretty heathy & Reay to go..

Alabama/ LSU has been as good as it gets under the Saban years. It's nearly as good as the Iron Bowl, IMO.
Where was the 9-6 LSU victory played a few years ago? One of the best games I've ever watched. It wasnt a high scoring circus act, but it was as good as it gets for smash mouth defense.
Ill never forget Aj to Tj in flats with under a min to go. That knocked the wind out of the Death Valley crowd! One of the best Bama plays in my lifetime.

I hope CBS moves it to 7pm. It's gonna be electric atmosphere in Tiger stadium. I hope ya'lls red team doesn't embarras my purple team too bad.

You are correct about the intensity and drama of the LSU/Bama game during the Saban era. The 9/6 game is the only time I've ever been to at BDS. It was a night I'll likely never forget. It was tough to walk out of there as an LSU fan that night. Head down, low profile and mouth shut. Can't say I didn't celebrate when we made it back to the car! What a night and certainly a game that lived up to the hype. (Game of the Century) On another note, I also remember the bitter disappointment in the sting of defeat and anger I felt to a close friend (whom shall remain nameless) as Yeldon scampered into the end zone the following year at Tiger Stadium. As Yeldon and the Tide celebrated my "friend" danced and rode an imaginary horse across my living room floor. He better be glad he was a good friend.

In fact, a coupe of fans wanted to walk out with us but we left them to themselves when they started doing exactly what you described. Last I saw one guy was being pushed into a wall in the stairwell. Hope he made it out ok. Being obnoxious is just foolishness in my opinion.

You mentioned the 9/6 game & when yeldon score the touch down the following year..Has the 21/0 shutout been forgotten?
