I always see deer as soon as I whip it out to pee from my stand. Just always worried about getting my Winkie caught in the bow string.

After seeing nothing moving at all, from my first stand, if I leave it and move to another, I will jump a deer on the way to the second stand. If I leave for lunch, I won't see a thing then either.

If I am certain that nothing is in the area and stand up to stretch, I will see a white tail bouncing away.

I typically have much better luck in the PM during a clear sky sunset vs a real cloudy day when the sunset is more gradual.

When a squirrel is barking there is something on the ground, but if they are whistling it was something flying that spooked them.

If you have enough to get caught in yer bow string, don't know if "winkie" is the right name for "it". Of course after you shot, "winkie" would prolly be very appropriate.

Always see deer on the way down the tree. Same with duck hunting, won't see crap until I'm picking up decoys then they will try to land on me. Or as soon as you give up on a gobbler and stand up and he was just over a little rise 45 yds away the whole time.

If I'm sitting still enough to have turkey at 10 yards on the ground and not spook them during deer season, I might as well go to the truck. No deer. Happened yesterday and more than I care to remember. Turkey season...nuthin.

One trend I've noticed...
The more time a hunter spends in the woods, the luckier his friends think he is.
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

Squirrel hunting, I see deer. Deer hunting, I'm covered with squirrels. I gotta get my days squared away.

- in the morning deer movement is between 7:30-8:30 - high pressure after a front or full moon, keep sitting during mid day - first two weeks of Dec don't bother hunting - after sitting once or twice in a stand, you'll prolly not see much till letting it sit for a while
That's about all I know.

if i see deer on the side of the road, while driving to camp in the a.m. I wont see none while hunting.
If I tell somebody I seen a deer at a certain stand, they will end up killing it
if someone tells others they seen a good buck at a certain stand, you can bet they actually saw it on the other side of the property
