Whenever I hear someone say they killed anything over 115" I just sort of nod my head and congratulate them. I know big deer are killed in Alabama, but my belief is that a very small percent strictly measure 120" or more. And I think even fewer people (myself included) really know what they are doing scoring deer.

I think the most important aspects of that guys original post are 1) he's excited about the deer and 2) it's a good buck for that area. In my opinion if the deer gets you jacked up, and it's grown to a good size for the area ... shoot him, be happy, and be proud. It's funny to see those guys invest so much emotion in proping up reasons for a high score.
