My personal observations ... - I've been checking cameras for several months and evidently my presence didn't disrupt a thing because the deer kept coming to my bottom land spots. I went into their territory 6 to 8 times too ...
- Granted these were all does and a few spikes but no mature bucks.
- Their pattern didn't change until the acorns started falling then they disappeared.
- There are few acorns in the bottoms ...
Based on what you guys have said and what I've observed, I'm going to have to assume that the deer I've seen in the past are further up the hills bedding and eating with no real need to come down to the bottoms right now
